| Well this was just playing around with Ham Radio on a Saturday evening. We had
been over to the Club Station working on the tower and antennas, etc. etc... and temporarily
installed a sloper off of the 80' tower in the North direction. Surprising enough we ran 100 Watts
with the TS850 and it worked pretty darn good. We did not have any receiving antennas, but we had
relatively low noise. RESULTS: Callsign Used: KC4HW QSOs: 75 Score: 5,550 Operators: AF4Z, W2DTJ, K4PX and KC4HW We finished 1st in South Florida Section. |
