This was the first Multi-Single from my place. (We usually use the club
station.) Some of the guys got their first look at 2 radio contesting. I
think you will see a few more two radio contestors in future tests. :-)

Weather conditions were really bad most of the contest. We had a nasty
thunderstorm storm blow by about 1 hour prior to the start of the contest.
There were severe weather warnings from the National Weather Service and
even a report of a tornado touching down nearby. Saturday afternoon
(period 2) was not much better with thunderstorms in the area all
afternoon.

The RF propagation matched the weather conditions. There was one time on
Saturday afternoon that the only station we could hear on 20 meters was
the W1AW bulletin! This was unbelievable in a contest of this popularity.

Ten meters was long. We seemed to be able to work most of the world on 10
meters but nothing in our own back yard. We worked 15 different DX
countries before we worked the first US station!
